Howdy, I'm Dalton. Thanks for dropping in. I’m an airline pilot, flight instructor, and graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I believe in helping the world flourish–through optimism and grit.
When not flying, you will catch me outside–mountain biking, hiking, or searching the northern coast of California for the best surf spots.
ABOUT ME
A fire burning within me as a child knew I wanted to be a pilot (I must have drank a little AvGas growing up). I had a vision, but no plan. A vision without a plan is just a dream.
After studying international business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I moved to San Francisco to learn about the interworkings of Silicon Valley. During this time, I developed a plan to start flying, so I shifted gears to complete flight training in Livermore, CA (KLVK). After completing training, I worked as a CFI and became the Regional Flight Standards Instructor of California at ATP Flight School, and supported 70+ flight instructors across 10 training centers. Currently, I’m a First Officer at SkyWest Airlines based at San Francisco International Airport.

I look forward to an exciting airline career and to continue building lasting relationships as a flight instructor. The opportunity to upgrade to captain and support other pilots along their journey excites me, similar to my role as a CFI.
